Elena Christopoulos is a Climate Scientist selling vintage clothing “and fabulous things.” She is also a public speaker, writer, Sustainability Consultant . In 2000 Elena founded Christopoulos Management Consulting (ECMC). Elena is a Certified Sustainability Practitioner who has managed more than 40 environmental and political campaigns worldwide.
Through ECMC she has created over 500,000 green jobs worldwide with roughly 60% of those going to women and BIOPIC. She has twice been named Toronto Canada’s Woman Of The year for her work implementing wind turbines and solar arrays around the world. She is currently and Advisory Board Member of Peace Over Violence, a multicultural nonprofit focused on building healthy relationships, families and communities.
Her mission and vision of environmental sustainability is a perfect fit with her curation and sells of sustainable clothing, and by extension vintage and upcycle clothing. She is quick to point out that it takes 700 gallons of water to produce 1 cotton T-shirt.
In addition to bringing more BIOPIC to the table in climate and sustainability roles and conversations she is a public voice in support of the LGBTQ2+ community and survivors of sexual assault. You can learn more at https://www.elenachristopoulos.com
