“Visual Web” Is What’s Trending

renee williamsWe are in the era of visual web. See jeffbellus.com. The number 1 activity on Facebook and Google+ is posting photos. On Twitter posting photos is only 2nd to “posting my daily status.” Not to mention Instagram. And Jeff points out that in 2013, same as 2012,  Pinterest is still the fastest growing social platform.

 

From from a target marketing perspective I have to add a note from Nielsen’s Social Media 2012 state of media report – whether via PC, App or mobile Pinterest users are easily 70% white females 25 – 49. If that’s your audience great — if not why are you there?
