Since its founding Pillars Fund has distributed more than $9 million in grants to Muslim organizations and leaders who advance social good. The focus is on investing in community-focused initiatives, pushing back against harmful narratives, uplifting Muslim stories, and collective giving to generate resources within Muslim communities for Muslim communities.

In 2022, from 650 applicants, the nonprofit selected 10 talented Muslim writers and directors for their inaugural Pillars Artist Fellowship. And, in New York and London they invited industry leaders to retreats sharing new research on Muslims on TV, and presented Pillars’ “Blueprint for Muslim Inclusion.’

Some of the organizations institutional sponsors and corporate funders include Disney, Skoll Foundation, Netflix, McArthur Foundation,  Amazon Studios, and PopCultureCollab. Through the years the organization has given grants to organizations such as ;
